Underground Water Line Leak Detection - 350-Foot Water Line

In Demand Plumbing, Heating & Air located an underground leak along a 350-foot water line using controlled pressurization. By pressurizing the line, our technicians caused water to surface through the pavement, allowing us to pinpoint and mark the leak location.

The problem

What we found.

An underground water line approximately 350 feet long had a leak that needed to be located. With the piping buried beneath the property and paved surfaces, identifying the leak location was essential before planning excavation and repairs.

The solution

What our team did.

Our In Demand Plumbing, Heating & Air technicians performed an underground water line leak detection on a 350-foot water line. Using specialized pressure-testing equipment, our team pressurized the water line to help identify the location of the underground leak. As pressure was applied, water began surfacing through a damaged section of pavement, revealing the leak's location. Our technicians identified and marked the affected area for targeted excavation and repair planning. This process helped narrow down the location of the leak without having to excavate the entire 350-foot water line.
