Underground Sewer Lateral Replacement and Excavation

What we found.
The property's underground sewer lateral required extensive repairs to restore proper wastewater drainage. The existing sewer line needed excavation and replacement across approximately 100 feet, including sections extending toward the street. The project required deep trenching, careful work around existing underground utilities, and restoration of disturbed areas.
The solution
What our team did.
In Demand Plumbing, Heating & Air excavated approximately 100 feet of underground sewer lateral at depths of 5–7 feet. Our team removed and replaced the affected sewer piping, installed new ABS and SDR-26 sewer pipe with appropriate fittings and connections, and completed the necessary modifications to the existing sewer system. The replacement piping was supported with 3/4-inch aggregate base, and the sewer line was tested and passed inspection. Our team then backfilled and compacted the excavated areas, performed asphalt patching, and graded the disturbed ground. The project also included coordination of the required street encroachment permit.
