The homeowner had an existing insulated tank-style water heater and wanted to upgrade to a modern, energy-efficient tankless system. The project required removing the existing storage tank and modifying the plumbing, gas, and venting connections to accommodate the new equipment.
The solution
What our team did.
Technicians Vince Mares and Franco Martinez removed the existing tank-style water heater and installed a wall-mounted Navien NPE-210A2 high-efficiency condensing tankless water heater. The installation included new copper water piping, updated gas connections, PVC exhaust venting, and a condensate neutralizer. The new system features built-in recirculation capability, heats water on demand, and frees up floor space previously occupied by the storage tank.
