Unlike conventional central HVAC systems that distribute conditioned air through ductwork, the Lennox MMLD connects one outdoor heat pump to multiple compatible indoor units. Each indoor unit serves a designated area, allowing you to set different temperatures for different rooms or zones. Its inverter-driven compressor adjusts operation as heating and cooling needs change, helping maintain consistent temperatures without repeatedly running at full capacity. The MMLD is an attractive option for older homes without existing ductwork, room additions, converted garages, and homeowners who want more personalized temperature control. Wall-mounted and other compatible indoor-unit styles may be available depending on the selected system. Because this is a heat pump, it provides both heating and cooling without requiring a separate gas furnace.
